Staff Vacancies

Championing every Child, Nurturing the Potential for All.

 St Edmund's Vision

The governing body of St. Edmund’s CofE Primary and Nursery School, Mansfield Woodhouse, are looking to appoint a headteacher to lead and inspire us on the next step of our journey to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, following the promotion of our current well-respected headteacher.

We are looking for someone who will demonstrate:

  • A practical love that nurtures and cares for every child, whilst continuing to shape our Wow based curriculum.
  • A curriculum wide and deep that inspires and enthuses each child to develop their particular passion and expose them to all the world has to offer (through Music, Sport, Art and Performance, alongside the core subjects).
  • An abundant education to inspire hope and aspiration for living life to the full.
  • A commitment to promote the school’s Christian ethos.

The person would ideally be outward looking in the educational community to find innovative and exciting solutions to take us forward; and would also engage with the local community and especially the local church to bring a wider, richer educational experience.

We have seen and celebrated the development of our staff and look for someone who will nurture wellbeing and manage a whole school team ethos, growing every team member. We are proud of our family atmosphere and see it as the backbone of our extremely popular and oversubscribed school.
