Hello,
I am Mrs Hird-Shaw and I teach in Year 5. I love all parts of school life, but my favourite subjects are English and History. I enjoy practical learning like drama and discussion and always enjoy a good story. I have been a teacher for more years than I care to mention but still love to learn new ways and am always on the lookout for fun and imaginative different ways to engage a class. In my spare time I love to be at the beach (somewhere warm) or at home with my family and also cosying up with a good book or detective series on the TV. I also love to swim when I have the time.
