General Admission Arrangements
The majority of children admitted into St Edmund's C of E Primary School come from our Nursery class. The staff in our Nursery class work closely with our staff in the Primary School to ensure a smooth and happy transfer by facilitating a series of transition visits into our Reception class and across the school.
Our school has an excellent reputation in our community. We are an exceptionally popular and over-subscribed school. If you want to find out about our school, please ask around. We are also happy to arrange visits to our school, for you to see us in action yourselves.
We arrange our Nursery class admissions ourselves and children can join our Nursery class at the start of the school term following their third birthday.
Our Reception class admissions are conducted by the Local Authority Admissions Team and all applications for the September 2022 class must be made directly to them by January the 15th, 2022.
