Volunteer at St Edmund’s
Could you spare a regular hour to listen to children read? Having an adult who can listen, encourage and talk about a book gives children valuable time to practise and grow in confidence. You do not need teaching experience; we will explain the role and support you.
Become a reading volunteer
If you could offer a regular time, please contact the school office on 01623 646624 or email office@st-edmunds.notts.sch.uk. Let us know when you might be available. We will discuss the role, provide guidance and arrange the safeguarding checks needed before you begin.
Other ways to help
Parents, carers and community members may also be able to share a skill or interest, help with an activity, or support an event or visit when opportunities arise. Occasional help is welcome too. Contact the office to tell us what you could offer, and we will get in touch when there is a suitable opportunity.
If events and fundraising interest you, you can also get involved with our Friends of St Edmund’s Parent Teacher Association.
Together, we can help children discover life in all its fullness (John 10:10).
