We understand that parenting can sometimes be challenging, and we’re here to help. Our experienced staff are always available to address your questions, concerns, and provide guidance whenever you need it. Mental Health & Well-Being:

At St. Edmund’s CofE Primary School, we place great importance on the mental health and overall well-being of our students and their families. Introducing #StEdSUPPORT, our commitment to mental health and well-being support is unwavering.

  • NHS – Every Mind Matters We all have times when we feel low, anxious or overwhelmed. But little things, like talking to a friend or taking a moment to breathe, can help us feel much better.
  • Place 2 Be We work with schools to support children’s and young people’s mental health.
  • place 2 Be – Parents/Carers As parents and carers, we play an important role in teaching children and young people how to understand and manage their feelings as they grow up.
  • Family Lives Family Lives provides targeted early intervention and crisis support to families. If you need to talk, we’re here to listen
  • Hub of Hope There is always hope… find support that’s right for you
  • Anna Freud Self-care is about the things we can do to look after our own mental health
  • This Girl Can Thousands of women have said that they’d like help to become more active. Join them by taking small steps to be active, when you want, in ways which you enjoy.

Bereavement & Loss:

we understand that experiencing bereavement and loss can be a challenging time for children and their families. We are committed to providing compassionate support during these difficult moments.

We aim to offer comfort and guidance to those in need. Attached below, you will find newsletters and letters specifically designed to address this sensitive topic. These resources provide helpful advice, information, and resources to assist our St. Eddy families in navigating the grieving process.

We believe in fostering an environment of understanding, empathy, and support. Through #StEdSUPPORT, we stand alongside our community, offering a helping hand during times of bereavement and loss.

#StEdmundsSUPPORT, our dedicated team aims to offer assistance, guidance, and resources to individuals and families impacted by domestic abuse. We understand that domestic abuse can have profound and lasting effects, and we are here to help.
